My rating:
3 of 5 stars

For somebody who has lived in Brussels and visits frequently, this is  an amusing story; nostalgia of the ’50s and also written in the “greyness” of that decade! Relationships lack emotion whether they are between male and female or of the same sex. The ending seems to have been botched together for lack of being able to deal with the aspect of emotions in a more rounded manner. By the time I had reached 10-15 pages from the end, I became bored and waited a week to finish off the book.
